The Heavy Crown Advantage

Terms that respect the cost of running a truck.

We built our carrier plan around what owner operators actually lose money on — idle time, slow settlements, and deductions nobody disclosed up front.

Weekly Settlements

Paid on a fixed weekly schedule with an itemized statement. No surprises at the bottom line.

Low Dead-Head Planning

Your next load is sourced before you drop the last one. Empty miles are a dispatch failure, not your cost.

Fuel Advances

Available on request so cash flow between settlements never takes you off the road.

Broker Credit Vetting

Every broker is credit-checked before we book. We do not put you under a load that may not pay.

Transparent Deductions

Our deduction schedule is disclosed in writing before you sign. What we quote is what settles.

Direct Dispatch Access

A named dispatcher and a direct line. Not a ticket queue, not a different person every call.

Carrier Plan

A top-tier split and factoring well below the industry standard.

Exact terms depend on your equipment and the lanes you want to run. Request the rate package and a dispatcher will walk you through what you would take home.

Freight Network

Freight that holds when the market softens.

Heavy Crown is set up to run FEMA and government-contracted freight alongside a commercial book of business. That mix is deliberate: when spot rates fall, contracted volume keeps trucks loaded.

As a minority-owned carrier, we also qualify for supplier-diversity programs with national shippers — lanes that are closed to most small authorities.

Discuss Available Lanes
01 — Federal

FEMA & Government Lanes

Contracted volume that is not exposed to spot-market swings.

02 — Commercial

Regional & OTR

Steady general and temperature-controlled freight across our operating regions.

03 — Diversity

Supplier-Diversity Programs

Minority-owned status opens direct shipper relationships.

Equipment

Two configurations. One standard of dispatch.

Tractor and dry van trailer, side view

Box Truck & Straight Truck

General freight on regional and local lanes. Straight trucks move the loads a tractor-trailer cannot get to.

Reefer

Temperature-controlled freight, dispatched by people who know what a late reefer load costs.

What we don't haul

No tankers, no hazmat, no oversize. We also don't run into the NYC boroughs.

We'd rather tell you now than waste your week finding out.

Common Questions

Before you lease on.

What percentage do owner operators keep?

Our split is among the highest in the industry and our factoring rate sits well below the standard most carriers charge. The exact figures depend on your equipment and lanes, so we provide them in a written rate package rather than publishing them. Request one and a dispatcher will walk you through it.

What are the requirements to lease on?

Drivers must be 23 or older with a minimum of two years of verifiable experience, a clean MVR, a current DOT medical card, and a tractor that passes inspection.

How quickly can I be dispatched?

Most operators are onboarded and dispatched within a few business days of applying. Submit the application and we will tell you exactly where you stand.

Do I need my own authority?

No. Most of our operators run under Heavy Crown's authority, MC 1741977. If you already hold your own, we can discuss arrangements that work either way.
